I'm going to start a new account and I need suggestions on names. Mainly though, I need suggestions on a common word to have in all the characters names on the new account. For example, my current account's characters all (or almost all) have Fanita in common. So I'm looking for a common word.

Suggestions can be anything, random words to Greek words with some cool meaning, doesn't matter. All suggestions are appreciated.

well, to keep the account retroactive and somewhat similar, instead of "Fanita", spell it backwards, and name them "Atinaf" (eh-teh-naf). enjoy. ^^

Make them a family. Pick a family name, and make characters to fill in family roles. I wish I had thought of this before, I'd love to have an older, more experienced character to play as the paternal role of my current main.

First off theres only 2 suggestions

and your still 2nd so...no

Ive always stuck with zodiac names, then somhow got stuck on leo - but other than leo theres 12 other great names for you there

Pick your favourite book or movie or band or song or SOMETHING, and go from there. Or better yet, some day it may just hit you out of the blue (as mine did). "Hey! that would be a kick-ass name!"

Carefully mash letters, and then go back and tweak it based on sounds.

Works without fail for WoW characters and GW character first names <.<

Thanks for all the suggestions guys but I've decided the common name to be Lather. Lather is a person from a song entitled 'Lather' by Jefferson Airplane. One of my favorite bands as well as songs. I wish I could make love to Grace Slick.

Ughh Shudders...

At names, I get a cool sounding word and pop it into language translators to get a cool sounding name:

Paragon: Assero Potentia - Latin: defender of power.
Monk: Luminarus Vitae - Latin: light of life
Rit: Praeter Phasmatis - Latin: Summon something

you get the picture, i personally like latin names.

I use color combonations for my names. They are easy to remember and you can be very creative.
Redd Storm and Black Phage are my names and I am think of using Violet Blur for another.

The way I create names:

1)Grab Scrabble
2)Throw all tiles on a table
3)Search for good combinations
4)If you have found nothing: Grab a random handfull of tiles
5)reorder them in something that looks like a name

Works every time
